What service does the Pool Safety Inspector offer?
We provide comprehensive inspections of pool and spa barriers and test compliance under The building Act 1993, and part 9A of the building regulations 2018. Upon compliance being achieved we issue a form 23 to the client.
In the event of non-compliance we issue a form 24 to the client and council. This lists items that must be rectified before compliance can be given.
How much does it cost to get a pool inspection?
Our fixed price fee in our Bayside region is $269 including gst.
There are no hidden costs and re-inspection, if required, is at no extra cost.
Why is inspection needed?
Routine inspection is required to satisfy your legal obligations as the pool owner, but also to give you peace of mind that your pool area is safe for your family and visitors.
How often is inspection needed?
Re-inspection is required every four years. Please contact us if you have any concerns due to deterioration or damage of components, and we can advise accordingly.
How long does the inspection take?
Typically between 30-45 minutes, depending on the design of your barrier.

Do you need a compliance form for your pool barrier when selling your home?
Your conveyancer will need a current Form 23 to add to your section 32 Statement.
